1. The current status of pump technology in our country
1. The sources of pump product designs in our country can be divided into joint design, introduction, and self-development.
(1) Jointly designed products: Led by the Shenyang Pump Research Institute, from the 1960s to the 1980s, many pump factories organized joint designs for various types of pumps. For example, IS (IB) type single-stage single-suction pump; IH type chemical pump; S(SH) type double-suction centrifugal pump; D (DG) type segmental multistage pump; W type vortex pump; Y type oil pump; JC type deep well pump; HW type mixed flow pump; QJ type deep well submersible pump; IR type hot water pump; BPZ type self-priming irrigation pump; FY type corrosion-resistant submersible pump; 3G type three-screw pump, etc.
These products were all domestic products at that time and are still in production today, but some products have relatively outdated structures (shapes) and performance indicators, and should gradually be replaced by new products.
(2) Introduced products: Before the 1980s, the pump technology introduced to our country was very limited. At the beginning of the reform and opening up, a large amount of pump technology was introduced from abroad, and with foreign pump companies entering our country in the form of joint ventures or wholly-owned enterprises, some new pump product technologies were also brought in. For example: Shenyang Pump (Shang Pump) - boiler feed pump from Germany's KSB; Tianjin Industrial Pump General Factory - screw pump from Germany's Alviller; Shijiazhuang Pump - slurry pump from Worman; Shijiazhuang Pump (Tianjin Electric Machine Factory) - well submersible electric pump from Germany's Ritz; Shanghai Electric Repair and Manufacturing Plant - boiler feed pump from Britain's Weir; Shanghai Pump Factory - condensate pump from KSB; Changsha Pump Factory - condensate pump from Japan's Hitachi; Dalian Acid-Resistant Pump Factory - CZ, ZA (ZE) chemical process pumps from Switzerland's Sulzer; Shanghai Pump Factory - sewage pump from America's Dresser; Foshan Pump Factory - water ring vacuum pump from Germany's Siemens; Shanghai Pump Factory - hot water pump and marine pump from KSB; Tianjin Industrial Pump General Factory - marine pump from Japan's Daiko; Nanjing Deep Well Pump Factory - submersible pump from Germany's ABS; Changsha Pump Factory - large vertical axial flow pump from America's Ingersoll; high-lift multistage centrifugal pump from Britain's M˙J; and phosphoric acid pump from France's H˙S.
The introduced pump products have relatively mature technology and advanced performance, playing an important role in promoting the development of pump technology in our country, and have become the main body of our pump products, still being produced in large quantities today. Some of these products also have issues in structure or performance and should be further improved.
(3) Products from foreign joint venture (wholly-owned) pump enterprises in China: For example: Shenyang Feili - submersible sewage pump; Suzhou Grundfos - stamping pump; Shanghai KSB-Omega (RDL) double-suction pump, boiler feed pump, condensate pump; Jialite (Chayuan) - chemical process pump; Foshan (Andritz) - pulp pump; Nanjing Guls - ISO type single-stage single-suction centrifugal pump, P type segmental multistage centrifugal pump; Dalian Empire - shielded pump; Lanzhou Naichi - screw pump.
