The installation position of the water pump and marine pump should meet the requirements for allowable suction vacuum height, with a level and stable foundation, ensuring that the rotation direction of the power machinery is consistent with that of the water pump. When the water pump and power machine are connected by a shaft, the shaft centers must be aligned to prevent vibration and unilateral wear of the bearings during operation; if a belt drive is used, the shaft centers should be parallel, and the belt wheels should be aligned. If there are multiple units in the same machine room, there should be sufficient distance between the units and the walls.
There should be a distance of more than 800mm between the unit and the wall. The water pump suction pipe should be well sealed, and bends and gate valves should be minimized. When filling the water intake, air should be completely discharged, and there should be no air accumulation in the pipe during operation, requiring the suction pipe to be slightly inclined.
The suction pipe should connect at a certain submerged depth to the water pump inlet. The reserved holes on the water pump foundation should be poured according to the size of the water pump.
In the next 20 years, China's electric power industry will develop at a higher speed. In 2003, the installed capacity of power generation equipment was 390 million kW, and by 2005, the installed capacity will reach 480 million kW, with a demand for 3,500 to 4,200 units of major pumps such as water pumps, booster pumps, circulating pumps, condenser water ring vacuum pumps, centrifugal ash removal pumps, reciprocating ash removal pumps, and metering pumps. The demand for nuclear main pumps, booster pumps, shutdown cooling pumps, spray pumps, boiler feed water pumps, and metering pumps for nuclear power units is expected to be 1,400 to 1,800 units.
In the national "11th Five-Year Plan", supercritical and ultra-supercritical units, as well as nuclear power, are supported projects, with units of 600,000 kW and above accounting for about 70%. More than 180 sets have been approved by the state. It is expected that by 2020, China's nuclear power installed capacity will increase from the current 8.7 million kW to a capacity of 32 to 40 million kW. The demand for industrial pumps such as main pumps, booster pumps, shutdown cooling pumps, spray pumps, high-pressure water injection pumps, boric acid pumps, boiler feed water pumps, auxiliary feed water pumps, and metering pumps is expected to be 5,600 to 9,000 units.
Centrifugal pumps consume a certain amount of energy during the liquid transfer process. In the actual use of centrifugal pumps, due to various reasons, some centrifugal pumps often operate outside their optimal working conditions, resulting in excessive energy consumption and unsatisfactory operating conditions. To improve this situation, necessary technical modifications to the centrifugal pumps are required, further enhancing the operating efficiency of the centrifugal pumps while meeting the water supply system's requirements for water volume and lift.
In recent years, our pump industry has designed and developed many energy-saving products, such as IHF, CQB, FSB, UHB, and other models of pump products, which have contributed to reducing energy consumption of pumps. However, currently in various fields of the national economy, due to unreasonable selection, many pumps are operating under unreasonable conditions, leading to low operating efficiency and wasting a large amount of energy. Some pumps, due to improper selection, cannot be used at all, or the maintenance costs increase, resulting in low economic benefits. Therefore, it is evident that reasonable pump selection is also of great significance for energy conservation.
Full-bore structure and reduced-bore structure: To meet the different needs of users, our company's ball valve products are available in both full-bore and reduced-bore series. The inner diameter of the passage of the full-bore ball valve is consistent with the inner diameter of the pipeline, making it easy to clean, while the reduced-bore series ball valves are relatively lighter, but the flow resistance is only about 1/7 of that of the same diameter shut-off valve, thus the application prospects of the reduced-bore series ball valves are quite broad.
